Was waiting at the bar for 10min while one other customer was being served - 3 employees were semi-idle talking to each other doing pretty much nothing meaningful. After the preceding customer finished another one jumped the que as the 4th person behind the bar asked her if she was being served... Last time in any of the franchise stores.... Very poor experience... Any local pub anywhere in the UK is 100 times better...
Not a bad pub. If you like to queue up everytime you want a drink then it's the place to go. Not enough bar staff let's it down badly. Food is ok.
Lovely atmosphere despite it being very busy. Staff dressed in cheery Christmas outfits. Food was excellent and well-priced but the halloumi fries were not on par with other Wetherspoons' we have visited as they were not cut thinly enough so less crispy. Dessert was beautiful.
Good selection of beers at great prices. Decent enough atmosphere. No loud music which helps.
