You know what you're getting - good pub food at pub food prices. Halloumi fries slightly over done, nice steak and fajitas afterwards. Fully booked tonight so would advise booking on a weekend.
Comfortable and friendly. However we just popped in for a cup of tea and 2 cups with 1 packet of crisps - 5. Hmmm
Lovely relaxed place for a long awaited catch-up , very welcoming with good honest food and staff friendly/attentive. Well done to all (especially at this time of year). We'll definitely be back in the New Year.
Front of house staff helpful and polite. I'm not usually one to complain but.......... The rocket salad served with a starter was obviously a few days old, very shrivelled and limp. The chips, (not fresh but frozen) with the main course were so greasy you could squeeze out the fat with your fingers. (Easily rectified by cooking chips at correct temperature) A steak was ordered to be medium rare but was verging on well done.Not good value for money at 44.Sorry,won't be back.
Another lovely meal tonight. Our order was misplaced so it took an hour to get the food... compensated with a drink. Worth the wait! Food was hot, tasty and served with a smile and apology.
