The Holy grail - a garage you can trust, not only to keep you safely on the road, but to charge a fair price too, and only to do what your vehicle needs. These guys are true gentlemen and we simply won't go anywhere else for our vehicle servicing or repairs.
I usually go to the dealer for service on the car but found recently that they seem to be more and more complacent and time frames, professionalism and customer care seem to be taking a back seat in the modern dealer service world. E-mail and phone calls to obtain a simple costing for service with a couple of additional components was proving far too difficult or not high enough in value for them to get back to me. However having used Livingston Autocare for an Mot test the previous month i sent them an e-mail with the same requirements and had a response withing 30 minutes to confirm that they could complete all the work i had outlined and if there was a convenient time to call me to discuss the parts, pricing and booking time. I called them back myself, booked the car in within a four day slot and because i was getting a full service i had the option for an engine carbon clean at a special price which i also went for (OMG what a difference that has made. Car is purring nicely, the throttle response is sharper and the economy has also improved). I took the car in and a technician was ready to carry out the work, the service replacement parts were with our checklist sheet and i was taken thorough the list to show the checks that would be carried out as well as the components being changed and if there was anything else i would need completed.Complimentary hot drinks, ice cold water, fresh fruit, comfy sofa, viewing area and a drop off service (within reason i guess) if required. Car was ready in the time frame i was given, spare wheel was taken out and awaiting my confirmation that the pressure was filled to the appropriate recommendations and overall the work was concluded hassle free with no additional requirements from the extensive checklist. A Senior staff member took me out in the car to make sure everything was running smoothly and the carbon clean had displayed some kind of difference which it definately had, all service lights were reset appropriately and service book was stamped to maintain the log. Overall i was very happy with the experience from initial inquiry to collecting my car and I'm sure if there was any follow-up questions or concerns they would be addressed efficiently. Based on my experience I would recommend these guys any day, the work and more importantly the manner in which the work was carried out in dealing with a customer was exemplary.Thank you so much Livingston Autocare.
Excellent service, great price and most of all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to help. Would highly recommend and they are now my go to garage.
