Only my 2nd visit to this salon and will not be going back. I was booked in for a simple block colour and cut and was taken by Stevi. I suspected she was a junior or just freshly qualified, still dont know which. This was fine and she was a nice girl but almost 2.1/2hrs into my appointment and after sitting almost half an hour just to blow dry and straighten my hair (the most basic hairdressing task) I had to ask her to leave the rest of my cut as I needed to go. Management needed to be paying more attention and maybe helping her to speed things up as Ive never sat more than 2hrs for a cut and colour in my life. To add too it I watched Naomi, who had done my hair on the previous visit and charged me 50, have a hushed conversation with Stevi and instruct her to charge me 65 (for a trainee/freshly qualified hairdresser...really!!) which of course I questioned. Naomi immediately agreed it should be 50. I later got home and discovered on social media that new girl Stevi was taking bookings all week at 45. Why try to blatantly overcharge me!?!?! Did I look like I could afford it that day, or maybe I just looked like a mug who wouldnt question it?? I left harassed, with an unfinished cut feeling like someone had just tried to con me(turns out they did). Ive contacted the salon since to complain with no response. They must be doing pretty well if they can afford to drive away new business. One word, unscrupulous!
