The course is in fantastic condition but there needs some ideas injected . There is no life in the place and it's a fantastic place to go . I was a member for a long time and you cannot fault the staff . It's just needing some imagination to get the place going . There are a lot of places struggling but it's got massive potential . so many golf clubs are struggling and it's down to cost . 60 upwards is a lot for people to shell out these days
Worst customer service I've ever seen. Tried to play through bunkered. Also played it in a mixed greensomes. Lovely layout poor maintenance and take wellies nothing else. You can tell the course is not run by a golfer.
Had a fantastic breakfast this morning at deer Park. Compliments to the chef, very good indeed.
Played golf there this morning, course lovely. Had to hire a battery for my trolley as I forgot mine, rather than charge me a nominal fee for the battery was charged 10 pounds.Had the breakfast after the game in the country club. Never again, avoid. Pot of tea for two the was just enough for a cup each, the milk was off and had to be replaced.Breakfast was very poor and not hot. Sausages were anemic, tattie scone soggy, bacon greasy and fatty. The black pudding and egg were okay, the toast was disgraceful. Burnt but had some of the burnt fragments scraped off, not by us and was cold with loads of margarine.Will I be back, not a chance.
Excellent service today for my daughter's birthday bowl the kids had a ball and the staff were very friendly and approachable meeting all our needs to a very high standard. Would recommend for an easy fun day
